To cope with these painful beliefs, people develop rules for themselves (e.g. “I must be perfect,” “I must be loved” “I must stay in control”). As long as they meet these rules, they may feel okay. But if they don’t, the negative beliefs get triggered, leading to self-doubt and anxiety.
To protect themselves from the anxiety, people will develop strategies to meet the rule e.g. Work harder, overgive, and mould themselves to fit in.
The problem is that these coping strategies don’t fix the underlying negative beliefs. Instead, they just cover them up. This leaves the person’s confidence fragile, because their self-worth depends on always meeting those strict rules
This workshop will give you a 5 step framework to break the rules so you can be free from the vicious cycle of self-doubt and anxiety.
